Reverb Room is a hybrid coffeehouse and live music venue rooted in the do-it-yourself ethos of independent music culture. The identity draws from the construction of a custom guitar signal, using its layered sequence as the framework for a visual system expressed through typography, analog print aesthetics, and brand applications.
The identity extends across coffee packaging, menus, environmental graphics, and merchandise. Coffee roasts are named after guitar signal terminology, connecting the brand experience directly to the language of sound.
The visual system expands into venue communications through a series of concert posters. Layered imagery, expressive typography, and print-inspired textures capture the atmosphere of basement shows and distortion-driven performances
Reverb Gothic is a custom display typeface developed specifically for the identity. Inspired by Franklin Gothic and reinterpreted through letterpress and relief printing, it provides the visual foundation for the Reverb Room brand.
